Epoch P360
    • The Epoch range represents a design departure for Pelikan, launching a mid-level pen range with an updated design for the new Millennium. The Epoch is a cartridge-only fountain pen (it has an in-built cartridge tray  - like the Montblanc 147 Traveller) and initially it only offered steel nibs - later models also came with 14-carats gold nibs. The three initially finishes on the P360 were: Titan-silver; Sapphire Blue, and Emerald Green. In 2007 a Jade Green pen was also offered.

  • Souveran M1000 "Hercules" Limited Edition of 800 pieces
    • To mark the 2004 Olympic Games, two unique fountain pens were created. One was the "Athens" in the M620 Cities series, and the other was the "Hercules". This demigod of Greek mythology is universally known for the twelve labours which he had to carry out for Eurystheus, king of Tyrus. However, he is also at the basis of many other traditions. He used to be recognized as the patron god of the earth, as well as of water. The celestial milky way is supposed to have come into existence when he was still an infant, and his father Zeus transformed him into a star constellation after his death.

Based on the M1000 series, the colours and the pattern of this fountain pen and its lavish packaging attempt to express these elements.

  • Souveran M1000 "75th Anniversary" Limited Edition of 75 pieces
    • The "Anniversary Pen" celebrates the period from 1929 to 2004 with the most striking details from the models released during this period and interprets this space of time with elegance, function and the finest materials in their own very individual way. It is the skilful and elaborate craftsmanship, which has succeeded in creating a harmonious combination of the noble materials white and yellow gold.

The striped band is a typical Pelikan characteristic and is made of 18-carat gold. Its glass panel offers a view of the technically perfect plunger mechanism and the patent number registered in 1928. A further special detail is the precisely manufactured and traditionally hand engraved gold nib with the Pelikan logo, which is also found on the cap head.

The engraved "75" on the cap and the barrel immortalize the anniversary in a particularly appealing fashion. And not least, the edition number on the gilded area beneath the glass panel is your guarantee of its extraordinary worth - with a limited edition of just 75 pieces, the "Anniversary Pen" is a real rarity and in every respect a "pièce de résistance" of its time, and also one of Pelikan's most valuable writing instruments.

  • "Pyramids of Giza" Limited Edition - 7 Wonders of the World - Edition of 445 pieces
    • With the "Pyramids of Giza" fountain pen, Pelikan pays tribute to a historic masterwork which remains unique in its dimensions. Between 2950 and 2470 B.C. monuments were created, in the form of the tombs of the Egyptian pharaohs Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, which have survived throughout the aeons to the present day.

These burial places of the pharaohs and kings are the source of inspiration for a work of art which will delight lovers of writing as much as fans of ancient Egypt. And it's the numerous painstaking details which make these Pelikan fountain pens really special - the shape of the cap head pays tribute to the crown of the Pharaoh Cheops.

  • Souveran M800 Maki-e Raden "Gekko" (Moonlight) and "Kyokko" (Sunlight) Limited Edition of 200 pieces each
    • “Kyokko” (Sunlight) and “Gekko” (Moonlight) are Raden fountain pens, based on the Model Souveran M800, handmade with mother-of-pearl particles. Raden is a traditional Japanese decorative craft used for lacquerware and woodwork.

The bodies of these pens are made with the abalone shells. As the size of the abalone is small, the parts used for Raden are limited. The abalone shell is placed on the ground and flattened with a hard stone into very thin sheets. These sheets are cut into narrow strips and then affixed to the coating of lacquer around the cap and the barrel of the M800 fountain pen. Once again, it is coated with lacquer, and then the surface is polished.

The Pelikan logo is drawn with the famous Maki-e technique, surrounded by matching colours of particles of the abalone shell.

On the back, along the entire length of the cap and barrel is a gilded band, with the names of the sun and all the planets, crossed by the symbolized planetary orbits. Barrel, cap, and grip are framed in fine sterling silver and painted cosmos blue. The case of this writing instrument is designed in the shape of a transparent vaulted sky.
  • Souveran M1000 Maki-e "Dragon and Phoenix" Limited Edition of 88 pieces
    • The Dragon and the Phoenix are the most important creatures in Chinese mythology and are surrounded by a wealth of legend and folklore. Historically it was the right of the Chinese Emperor to bear the dragon, while the Phoenix was the main decorative motive in the costumes of the Empresses of China. The spirit of these beasts is still very much a living part of Chinese culture.

The Pelikan Souveran M100 “Dragon and Phoenix” is a maki-e masterpiece with a finely-chased 18-carat gold nib accentuated with a rhodium décor. • "Colossus of Rhodes" Limited Edition - 7 Wonders of the World - Edition of 408 pieces
    • Pelikan's "Colossus of Rhodes" fountain pen honours a technical and artistic masterpiece that was unique in terms of size and grandeur - the bronze statue of the god Helios, the worshipped sun god and patron saint of Rhodes, worked with exceptional architectonic and artistic skill. Only selected materials were employed at the time, such as marble for the pedestal, iron for the inner frame and bronze, partially refined with gold, for the outer skin.

This special Pelikan fountain pen, like its historical paragon, is partly made from bronze and combines traditional craftsmanship with the highest degree of design and technical expertise. The pen is presented in an artistically designed case that evokes the harbour of Rhodes where the statue is said to have once stood. The edition number engraved on the filler knob end transforms each product into an unmistakably unique item.

The well-proven piston mechanism is hidden by a barrel made of sterling silver. The clip and rings, as well as the frieze, are covered with 24-carat gold or Platinum. The sterling silver barrel is coated in platinum to make the soft material more resistant, and to make sure that it keeps its shine throughout the years.

Timeless design and strictly limited worldwide production of this writing instrument make for a special tribute to the unique view of our home planet from space. The wispy cloud layer is embedded in the clear lacquer layer and forms a harmonious contrast to the anthracite-black of deep space.

The top of the cap and decorative rings of gold-plated sterling silver give this writing instrument a special high-quality flair. Stylised engravings of lines of longitude and latitude decorate the end of the cobalt blue fountain pen handle, also made of gold-plated sterling silver. The 18-carat gold nib at the tip of this masterpiece was carefully run in by a master's hand and features rhodium decorations over much of its surface.

    • The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus is the first temple built of marble and is considered the largest and most magnificent temple of the ancient world. The Pelikan fountain pen "The Temple of Artemis" from the collection of "The Seven Wonders of the World" is dedicated to this unique and fascinating architectural masterpiece, echoing the impressive technical achievement of an important era.The temple dedicated to the goddess Artemis was completed in 440 BC. One of the biggest challenges for the former builder was the marshy ground, which they eventually secure with charcoal. The foundation of rock provided the foundation for the temple, which was 51 feet wide and 105 feet long. Ceiling and roof were made of cedar wood, the double doors to the cellar, and the innermost sanctum of the temple were decorated with cypress wood and gold.

The first fountain pen of this series bears the name "Evolution of Script". The high-grade resin cap is engraved with cave painting motifs. The barrel, which is gold-plated with lacquer embellishments, displays the other early forms of writing as finely drawn symbols, hand-engraved in masterly fashion. The individual epochs are visually separated by gold-plated rings, in order to symbolise appropriately the line of development.

The incomparable nature of this collectors' item is very apparent in the 18-carat gold nib, which will be embossed with a different design for each edition. On the clip, the shape of which reflects the overall form of the pen, the same pattern as is embossed on the nib is repeated in high relief, recessed into the clip. Technically too, this masterpiece represents the culture of writing in its purest form. Solid brass components guarantee reliable functionality combined with the highest degree of writing comfort.

        • Souveran M1000 Maki-e "Sea-World" Limited Edition of 88 pieces
          • Our planet is covered by 360 million square kilometres of water. The history of the oceans is as old as the earth itself, and all life on our planet originates from the depths of the oceans. These came into being what feels like an eternity ago - an estimated 4.6 billion years. The motifs on the fountain pen symbolize this history: The turtle - the symbol for a long life - forms the centre-point, surrounded by numerous fish. It is produced using an elaborate mother-of-pearl inlay technique.
        • Souveran M1000 Maki-e "Renjishi" Limited Edition of 88 pieces
          • The tale of Renjishi was written by Mokuami Kawatake based upon a moral story in which a parent pushes his children down into the bottomless valley with the intention of raising only those who are able to run back up from the valley. This story is regarded as the representative piece of Kabuki dancing, and truly touches the audience’s heart as it is performed by a real parent and son. The climax of this performance is painted on the Pelikan fountain pen “Renjishi”, where the white-haired parent and the red-haired child dance together wildly as a perfect match.
