Visconti Versailles Regency Fountain Pen

Versailles Regency Fountain Pen

The Visconti Versailles Regency Fountain Pen was released in 1999 together with a similar red toned Cardinal Richelieu version, both in a Limited Edition of 365 pieces.

The fountain pen is done in acryloid resin covered with a sterling silver filigree with silver trim and sapphire cabochons. It is a fixed piston filler ink system pen with an 18kt two-tone rhodium-plated gold nib.

It was Visconti's purpose to express the values of luxury and opulence of the French court at Versailles in these fountain pens through the rich colours of the resin and the sterling silver filigree work which decorates them.

The pen's simple profile combines linear and rounded contours. The barrel and cap are created from a blue pearlescent acryloid resin giving the pen an elegant and timeless look. The sterling silver filigree encircles the barrel with a unique design, evocative of French royalty's "Fleur de Lis", completed with three sapphire cabochons, two adorning the clip and one on the end cap.

The length of the fountain pen is 14,5 mm
